About this product
The BenQ GW2790 is a 27-inch IPS monitor with a Full HD resolution, 100Hz refresh rate, and 5ms response time. It features a 250 cd/m² brightness, 1300:1 contrast ratio, and supports HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs. The monitor includes eye-care technology and has a black design.
Our take
The GW2790 is a solid all-around monitor for work and casual gaming. The IPS panel provides good colors and viewing angles, and the 100Hz refresh is a nice step up from standard 60Hz. The eye-care features are useful for long sessions. However, the 250 nits brightness is a bit dim, and the 5ms response might not satisfy hardcore gamers. At $92, it's a great value for a 27-inch IPS monitor.
